An Ergonomic Tool Unlike Any Mouse We are proud to announce that the TRACKBAR EMOTION won "Best Product"at the largest ergonomic event in the United States. Using a 15-year-proven Scandinavian ergonomics design methodology known as Centrerad Styrdon and worldwide interdisciplinary strengths has brought a high-performance computer peripheral device that meets the ergonomic demands of today's health-savvy and design-focused workforce. Three key development processes - ergonomics, aesthetics and engineering - were integrated with great attention to detail such that all areas of the development shared equal importance. Once a prototype was in hand, it was further refined by consulting with doctors, materials specialists and usability experts. The result: Trackbar Emotion™. Symmetry & Position: It's symmetrical design allows the use of both hands evenly. It may be used either with the roll closer to the keyboard (default position) or closer to the body. Force: The programmable buttons require only 50-to-70 Newtons/grams of force to activate (most mice require 2-3 times that!) and allow the user to speed up repetitive functions - significantly reducing the strain of "mousing." Design Within the User's Comfort Zone: Functional, comfortable surface materials and size proportions are a key part of this product's design. The top surface does not promote the formation of sweat on the user's arms. The roll bar is much larger in diameter than other roll-using peripherals allowing for precise cursor motion with less manual effort, greater comfort and a quicker learning curve. The surface of the bar and the buttons is smooth to the touch. Because of these intrinsic values, users new to ergonomic products employing the CPD method who find that it is at first unfamiliar to maneuver a cursor onscreen with a centered pointing device and roll bar should expect any initial discomfort to disappear in 3-7 days of regular use. Additional software is available for the PC to make these buttons programmable without charge (excluding the clickable roll). The clickable roll can be switched on and off by holding down the two lower buttons and the roll 3 seconds at the same time. The function of the click feature is "double-click" on PCs. If the user wishes to rotate Trackbar Emotion™ 180 degrees this can be done by pressing the switch key on the bottom of the mouse. This will reverse the roll function 180 degrees and the switch of the buttons is made in the control panel of your operating system. The default position is with the roll closest to the keyboard. The option to rotate the device 180 degrees is available for those who feel more comfortable using Trackbar Emotion™ with the roll closest to the body.
